insured on any car?....

Not really, it used to be common on alot of fully comp policies but they have started to change it recently. Best off to check with your insurers.

My last policy allowed me to drive any vehicle (20 y/o)

Bell direct are the only company I found to offer this service to under 25's

Depends on your insurer... check your documents carefully as it'll bite you in the ass if you're not... I thought I was and had driven a couple of friends cars (back from the pub etc) only to find out that my policy didn't cover me (F/C and 28 at the time)! Was very lucky not to have got stopped!!

Defo best to check the smal print!!

if your fully comp on ur own name does this mean u would be insured to drive any car?

As per all the replies given.

Check your policy and policy booklet that normally comes with it carefully.

Normally it MUST be stated on your certificate of cover.

My old Tesco policy said clearly "You are NOT covered to drive other vehicles" even tho im 25.

Also, as most insurance companies now re-inforce is that its only 3rd party cover and should only be used in emergency cases....

Not for general and constant social use etc.

I'm the wrong side of 50 and my three last policies no longer stated I could drive any other vehicle under third-party cover. I think this may be a thing of the past now.
