Interchangeable parts

Gday i have a wrecked 172 phase 1 and looking at using the parts for another wreck to make a car, ive seen one with front end damage will the phase 1 front end work in with the phase 2 basically changing the lights bonnet front spoiler etc
any help aprreciated

no the frame work and other bits are different iirc

you want to put a Ph1 front on a Ph2 car?

If so, yes... its possible. The Ph2 Clio Cup racers were all Ph1s with the new kit bolted on.

basically i want to put a 172 phase 1 front end on a 172 phase 2.
I have a good front end wrecked mostly everywhere else and most cars in aust are phase 2 need to make a car
is it doable

no i dont think that way round is possible mate, think there are different slam panel points etc
