Internet/laptop is really slow :(

I'm sorry if this is a repost, but I don't have a clue with computers and my internet has slowed down a fair bit since I bought it last year...

There is bugger-all on it too.... no music, videos etc...

What is slowing it down, and what can I do?

Try running a free program called CCleaner: http://www.ccleaner.com (make sure you tick all the boxes and run registry cleaner too) that will clear any temp files and other files clogging your system. Also do a Disk Clean up and a Disk Defrag overnight. uninstall any unused software and toolbars.

You could also try Start>Run>msconfig and untick any programs under the start up tab that you do not want to start with windows.

Maybe try another free program called spybot http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html which will clear any spyware you may have.

Be careful when running CC cleaner, if you are not carefule when using CC cleaner you will delete all your history and usefull stuff like that.

Run the Regcleaner and use something like Malwarebytes to clean the laptop.
