Ipod frozen :(

Its just frozen while playing cant turn it off, normally, what do i do? and why did it happen?

My ipod did that the other day and had to reset it!!

(I've got the video 30gb)

Press and hold the centre button and the play button together and then it should reset!!!

(worked ok with mine!!)

Try and defrost it slowly.

As above, also toggle the hold button on off before pushing the buttons. It also helps if you charge the ipod at the same time.

i find i press the middle button and the menu button and that unfreezes it, nano it is.

it done it five times on my 30gb ipod photo, kept taking it back to dixons kicking off and cos it has a internal battery they had to give me new ones each time- totally lost faith in all ipods after that,

then got a 2gb nano and it happened again....then i learnt how to reset it and it fixed it...... what a carry on hahahaha
