iPod problems

Hi,

I have an iPod nano 2nd gen 8gb. When I am moving music files over from my laptop to my library, they show upin the same order as they show up in my file on my laptop. Also they show up in the same order when moved over to my ipod in itunes. But the problem is when I have a look on my ipod itself they play alphabetically in artist order instead of the usual track order, or the way they are on my laptop???

What am I doing wrong

If you right click on the tracks that are "messing around" go to info and gives you the option of the order you want them in i.e 1 of 5, 2 of 5, 3 of 5 and so on......
