Looking at getting myself a mk3 clio RS as a bit of a project car to tinker with. I have read the buying guides and comparisons between the 197 and 200 and I understand the 200 is the better car out of the box. However as 197s seem to be quite quite a bit cheaper is it worth the extra expenditure when I plan on changing the wheels, carrying out breathing mods and having it remapped etc? I suppose what Im asking is it it worth paying thr extra for things that the 200 comes with standard when I'm potentially going to upgrade parts anyway?

Other than that I don't think there's too much difference. Get the straightest car.
