I am driving Clio Mk2
I just bought a 2nd hand MK1 Original CD Head-Unit,
when I plug the wires to the head unit,
the Headunit panel will light up immediately,
but i didnt put the key to turn on my car,
and even I central locked my car,
the panel light wont go off,
and i can turn on the radio without my key.
After turnning on the headunit, i can hear beep beep sound,
and it asking me CODE 1 minute later.
I discover that my old cassette unit panel wont light up even I locked my car. And I cannot turn on the old one without key insert and start up my car..
Is this normal that for MK1 head unit cause I didnt provide correct CODE??
If i have enter the correct code, after that, will the headunit turn back to normal stat?
Is this headunit damaged? Do I need to change another NEW one?
