Its amazing what a phone call to Renault UK can do.

I phoned them up - re my much back-dated Cup - and said "Look, I can go to XXXXX Honda, in Hull, and take delivery of a new CTR within a week. What would you prefer: me to cancel the Cup and buy a Honda, or the Cup to turn up on the date stated?"

I got a phone call from the dealer later in the day... "Your car will be ready for collection on Friday, sir. When would you like to pick it up?"

Incredible.


So at long last, I should have my new Cup on Friday. Whoopee!!

Ordered it in July.

Nah, dont like the new Civic. Dont like the design interior or exterior. Engine might be good, but thats not the whole package.

Jon, think it depends on the dealer/saleman, the salesman I dealt with was excellent and was always chasing it up for me and getting updates.
