christmas eve and the car wont start. Smashin!!

Im absolutely sure its something to do with the immoboliser, but!! the car wants to start, but it doesnt quite get there. Tried spark plugs, no go, but then i think the battery is fine. Ihavent driven the car since saturday if that may be a problem??

Any ideas?

Yeah try a set of Jump leads. My battery is weak. need a new one. Nearly gets there not quit enough Juice though.

If I leave it for 2 days or so wont start without a Jump mate!

bumping or trying to jump start cars can spike immobilisrs, specially cliffords (Mine did it 3 times - had it disabled in the end) that might be something to do with it?

well...

good news, it started this evening, so i got to shake some cobwebs out on christmas day, and pose around in my car... only 16V in my area im sure!! neva see any clio members. Unfortunately its sounds like a tappet has gone, also when i start it up, it goes right up to 3000rpm! hmm...

However, service at renault is booked for the 5th, lets hope she will come back all sorted, and back to her old self.

Ive been driving a 1.4 escort, and when i drove the valver tonight... LOL... i was laughing whilst driving, god i love her to pieces!!

revs up to 3000 rpm,idle valve,map sensor or throttle potentiometer perhaps.
