iTunes - PC to Mac

Probably a quick one but I've copied my music from my PC to my Mac to start using the Mac more but I have a problem with it not seeing half the music.

I copied the music which is split between my old My Music folder and an iTunes folder within that. It sees the iTunes folder music fine but can't see the music outside the folder. I've changed the path for the music and also deleted the .xml file that it stores the information on the music so it recreates it but nothing

Any ideas?

What format are the tracks it's not seeing? wma?

I think it's all of them (including mp3).

When it asks me to locate the file it then plays it fine.
