How do I stop it from renaming things?

i.e. If something is named 010101 then I dont want it renamed to Bob's Song.

Someone help me before I launch it through the window

THREAD HIJACK..............on itunes im trying to put all my cds onto itunes but it doesnt recognise any song titles from the cds,so my itunes libary says song 1,song 2 etc....how do i get round this so it shows the song titles

try turning off 'Keep My itunes Folder Organized' option off in the prefrences

Not sure it will work but worth a try.

Import the CD then Select whole album and name it (real album name), then while they r still hilighted right click and tell itunes to get CD info.

It recognises the ID3 tag which could, and in this case is, be different to the file name. Pain in the arse.
