Jet Washing?

  350z GT
After reading a few guides here and there i now have a question...

Do you guys jetwash the car before washing? Or simply spray down with a hose?

Cheers

Either of them 2 aslong as you try and rinse off most of the dirt to help prevent swirls.

Or you can snowfoam.

Does it not damage the paint work at all?

I'm thinking it shouldn't do as long you dont be stupid and go cm from the paint?

It's better than just going straight in to wash it, rubbing all the grime all over your paintwork. Don't worry about it just don't use it really close. I tend to do it about 2ft away or something.

Jet wash as it aids the removal of alot of cr*p on the paint in a better/quicker fashion compared to a hose

My routine is snow foam, leave to dwell for a little while. Rinse off with PW removing as much dirt as possible without being to forceful then proceed to wash 2BM. Usually I hold the PW at an angle to the paint work and about 2 feet away. Never use full pressure but enough to do the job. Using a jetwash is much more effective than just a hose and should in theory help to keep your paint work in good condition.
