just bought a dslr, my first pics... vauxhaull and proper hot hatch content

just bought my first dslr, i went for a nikon d40x, just popped out for a few pics with the trophy and a mates vxr. this is the first time ive used a dslr and im pleased tbh need to learn alot still. i was having trouble with yellow street lights, do i need to use a filer to block them out? anyway here's some of the pics C+C welcome
