Just given the car a leathering... On the driveway...

  BMW M4; S1000 RR
I wonder what my neighbours must think. Every couple of weeks I come outside (yes it's a big step for me into the world), open the driveway gates, out comes the old metro, filthy as you like, in goes the Clio, not too clean herself. Gates close.

2 hours later they open, Clio drives out sparkling, metro goes back in. I licked it clean... Honest :dead:

Anyway, I only used the leather on the bonnet, boot and roof. Felt too much like hard work, can someone tell me if it's good to use on glass ?? Because that's what lets it down really, it has water marks all over the windscreen, and I daren't use the washers as it creates horrible streaks down the side pillars... Old wash yes I know..

And will polish bring anything more out of it ??

Nice pics there matey :)

I always use a leather, lots of folk say mater magnets etc etc but the old ones are the best ;)

Try some Autoglym fast glass for the windows streaks.

chamois leathers a no no from me. Too hard and hold too much dirt scratching paint. Microfibre colths for drying, much easier and less elbow grease required and give a better finish without scratching paintwork.

My dad used to use them for years. The genuine ones are decent, and as long as the car is clean when you start, how does it get dirt on it :D
