Im thinking of just applying by a german wax pad? The hand thing seems a tad gay?

Cheers.

Ha, lol at the gay comment.

BOS is very good Ben mate, you seem to have really caught the bug!! Are you still going to want either PCing? Might have some spare time over the next few weeks!

By a pad is a lot easier imo! I've never even tried it by hand but it'll be harder to get the best coverage imo.

Jamie has tried it by hand. Good choice of wax mate.

Nope, not tried it by hand, not many waxes are that good by hand. People say you waste loads using pads, but this cannot be helped and it's not loads!

Agreed, only done it three times, twice on mine and once with the Needster, but that was purely for s**ts and giggles!

Boss didn't find my blue hands funny the next day!

Lol I wouldn't even try it! I think you would use less by pad and more by hand tbh.

Better coverage also.

I blew the dust of my PC last week and did the clio, renault paint is soo pish lol. Took me 6 hours to fully correct it with IP3.02 and 58RD

Tried it on the golf and it took 3 hours to remove about 30% of the swirls on jsut the bonnet! with power gloss on a menz cutting pad!

So I tossed the PC back in the shed and ordered a Kestrel from Matt! Should be here today.

Someone said use the DA on a finsihing pad?
You can do mate, that is how a lot of people are doing it as it saves a lot of time ect...

For me it's enjoyable doing the last part ie waxing it. Nice german applicator light spritz and some nice thin layers! Yummy! Is it for your 32' mate?

I've never used BOS, but have used z*mol concours a few times (similar price range). The idea behind applying a wax by hand is that none of the ingredients are absorbed into your skin whereas they could be absorbed if using a foam pad.

However it's much easier to get an even layer with a foam pad and you'll use much less (ideal with an expensive wax!). If applying by hand you'll tend to use a lot more which makes buffing off much more difficult too as you're just pulling off a thick layer of wax.

Swissvax usually provide a pad with their wax anyway, I'd just stick with that tbh.

Probably the best higher end wax on the market. It's got a highter wax content than my Saphir. But tbh, i can bearly notice a difference between the ONXY and the Saphir. I would say the BOS is the same! lol.

Mines still beading well after 3wks! :)
