jvc headunit problem

I have just purchased the jvc kd-avx44 dvd headunit.
I have a slight problem at the moment the screen seems to work absolutely fine when your testing it with all the cables plugged in, but .... once you try and put the headunit in and push the bundle of wires somewhere so it fits in the screen will not work :S Obviously this is because all the wires are getting squashed since when its out and only plugged in it works fine.
How can i resolve this problem? there are so many cables and wires everywhere and Ive tried moving them over into a small gap but the same thing happens.

do a search as another member on here had the same issue but i cant remember for the life of me what he said the issue was
if it isnt what he had they are quite common to have issues with the fascia not contacting correctly
