Whats the best lance to buy for my Karcher unit for blasting the car over with?

Snow foaming, or just a Karcher water lance? The standard ones that come with the 2s and 3s are perfectly acceptable.

Ah my bad

Vario lance is okay (if its the one you can adjust on the end??) thats the one I use.

Yeah got that once, and it's adjustable, in the manual it said use the Turbo DIrt buster lance on the car, tried it on some bushes before I let loose and it ripped them to pieces!

You should have the "vario" lance with your washer - it's pretty good.

Better to sheet the water over the car from a normal hose after washing though - gets all the suds away

You say that, quick and easy is the key with the pressure washer, more pressure aimed at it makes the water sheet off and so drying is easier. Low pressure stays on the bodywork, rather than sheeting off.

Also, you get an approx. 80% water saving when using a PW compared to a standard garden hose! Everyones a winner :clap:

What length hose comes with it as standard?? Anyone know?? 3metres sound about right?? I want/need a longer one, bloody annoying having to carry it around the car.

what karcher do you have richy? my nilfisk c120 has a 6 meter hose..

I have found an extension lead on eBay that goes in the karcher, then I connect it to the standard lead I'll see if I can find it. £16 too

says its a 4 meter one on karchers site, i would be careful not to get one thats too long though as it might affect the water pressure coming out of the lance..

4metres??!!! f**k me it seems about 2-3!! :S

karcher sell a 6 and 10 metre one so I'd hope that they wouldn't effect pressure too much. It has a fairly good flow rate etc I seem to remember

110bar max pressure, 400 litres p/hr flow rate, my nilfisk is 120 bar max and 520 litre p/hr flow rate i'm hoping mine has some more omph to it next time i use it though as the garden hose ive been using with it is 10+ years old and leaking all over the place so i got a new 30 metre one the other day (anti kink hozelok one). i would'nt of thought it would affect the pressure by any noticable difference tbh

I might take a punt with the extension lead for £19..if it does slow it down then it isn't too much of a waste of cash! My karcher was a bit of an impulse buy as I had money off vouchers and got it for £40 from tesco.
