Knock noise

Have a problem at the moment

When i turn left sharply the left hand side at the front knocks but also sounds like a crunch

Also makes a noise when on full lock sometimes any ideas guys?

Steering Rack possibly?

Broken front springs are very common on reno's jack it up get your torch in & have a look see if there is a bit snapped off, also when it's up check for play on ball joint & wheel bearing.
