Koni rear shocks problem

  Clio 172, r32 gtr
Evening guys having some trouble with fitting a 2nd hand set of konis on my 172 track car project.

I'm pretty sure the rear shocks are missing some sort of washer/ clip but can't find any close enough photos online to tell what it is. Basically there is nothing below the rubber top mount bushes to stop the bushes just sliding all the way down the shock meaning that they come straight up through the boot floor.

Anyone had this problem before or know what it is that I'm missing?

Thanks in advance

The shock on the right is standard and has a machined stop in the shaft that the rubbers bottom out on.

The 1 on the left is the koni shock which just has a groove in it but nothing seems to locate in it?!

I did try putting a circlip in the there but as I expected as soon as I let the weight down on the wheels the circlip came off and the shocks are through the floor again

Could you move it a bit to the right? Lol, looks like I'm missing whatever number 3 is any idea how I can get hold of them?

Yeah the circlip I have was just a random 1 I had in my tool box that put in the groove because it fit, so I'll try and get hold of koni then and see if I can buy that washer seperately.

Thanks for your help mate

All the part numbers with a circle around them are Koni parts.

I didn't have any of the ones with the square so I had to buy a used set of shocks for the stops and dust covers.
I imagine your quest will be much harder.

Yeah I think I'll just have to call them and try and get a pair of new 1's, thanks for the diagram I couldn't even find that on google so at least I've got that to go on now.
