I know kwick fit are not the best liked company around but ours have been very helpfully everytime.

Just looked up their service prices, i thought they seemed a good price?

I just need a oil and filter change really, and really a brake fluid change.

Mate honestly after bring a manager of 2 centres in Guildford some years ago I wouldn't let them touch a car of mine. Even to change tires. Fitters putting wrong oil in etc due to pure lazyness. Putting wheels back on using airguns which is a HUGE no no.

I'd rather use an Indy and get the right job done for the right price.

Speak to JMS (look in the traders area) - cheaper and they have a very good reputation!

Once its in for the cheap oil service the new discs and pads you've put on would have magicly worn to the point at which there dangerous and you shouldn't take the car away until they've been replaced.

Could you not attempt the oil change yourself? Not hard, and much cheaper too.

My mate went there for a service once and they made him pay for things they didnt even do! if u wana go somewhere like that go mr tyre, most branches are pretty good

My old man has to use them as he has a company car and they didnt even inflate his tyres right, over inflated 3 of them. Wouldnt bother tbh

i know some1 who works there and he said that people use jubile clips for exhaust clamps, stay away, the adverts on tv say it all.

Oh don't get me wrong couple of the blokes at the centre were top blokes. Just fecking useless at doing anything. In the 2 years I was there I was amazed at some of the stuff I saw. Previous managment to me must have been crap. So glad to get out of the place.

u go in for a free brake check and come out needing, 4 new tyres, disc and pads all round, a new exhaust and a few other things they find, they do it cos tey have to meet targets which is wrong really, also spend a few hours of your time, basic tools and read round the forum and do it ya self. O yeah, and the tracking will most probaly be out aswell. Never take it there for mot either, it will come out with aa 500 quid bill porbaly. As someone said iwouldent trust em with a moped, i wouldent even trust em with a pram.

i got 4 tyres and they arsed that up.

37psi at the front and 39psi at the rear. f**king joke. handling was a bag of shite.

North eastern tyres are similar, I took my cyclones in for the tyres doing all marked up, they put them on the wrong way round,

Took the clio in for the tyres doing, they were overinflated
took it in for the oil doing a few weeks after as i couldnt be arsed, camse back with a dint in the bonnet and an oil leak, because the filter wasn't on properly :clown:
Work colleague nearly got ran over by the mechanic in it too after doing a cv clip, from cold redlined past my work

Said to my missus we can do an aircon fill up, and 1 1/2 waiting her car still hadnt been touched. Thats not in teh order of happening but it doesnt go there anymore

A girl i know went in for some brakes and supprise supprise she needed some extra stuff doing. She agreed to and when the cars brakes failed a indipendant garage said they had only replace one side of pads no discs and deffienatly no other jobs had been done. She took them to court and she won. So like every other member of the forum i would say no no no no no no.

A mate of mine went there once as there was a small noise coming frrom his car.

Came out with 4 new tyres a complete gas suspension setup and a kwik-fit credit card thingy lol Seen him coming !! TBF the guy is clueless.
