The finish looks great on the badge, the car looks a mess though, tidy it up before further mods and you'll have a smart little car.

I know, im going to Ireland in June so I have a friend with a spray gun who is going to spray it for me for free provided I do the prep work. I need it prim and proper in time for Ireland for a car scene :) Its on my list :D the bumpers where done with rattle cans (like 1 - 2 coats lol) It was a temporary fix then I lost the sunny weather so lost the patience to do it.

Fair enough, normal wipers, dual optics, plain plates and a respray and it'll look good :)

When I had a non sport, neither was I... Then I upgraded, I noticed how much better they were at projecting light and also how much less "poverty" they looked.

Those style lights look very wrong with the sport front bumper etc.

True they do look "odd" dual optics being HID would they pass an MOT being on a different car are they just a straight swap maybe some re wiring along the way?

I need to find someone local with dual optics or a spare set that I could "borrow" to see how they look properly once I get it painted up

They could look a hell of a lot worse to be honest. I was half for keeping the pov. spec lights I had before, as long as they're kept nice and clean they don't look that dated.

But then I have HIDs now which I couldn't have had with the original lights so every cloud and all that.

Of course. They're not HID's, unless you fit HID bulbs.

A small wiring adaptation, (takes about 10 minutes to create an adapator with bits from halfords) and they go straight in.
