I tried many moons ago to restore the cracking leather in my 1.9 to be honest with limited success. I tried everything from Autoglym to Gliptone in the actual detailing range right through to saddle soap and shoe polish.
All looked good for a few days until they wore off, soaked in or dried out. I was never able to find a permanent fix. Autoglym do sell some black die in the trade range that may work.
I tried to find the pics of my old ones last night but in a semi drunken state failed! The whole of the leather of the base parts of the back seats was cracking on mine. Changed them for some out of another car when someone in the club stripped a 1.9 for track car.
