LED number plate bulb doesnt work

Standard bulb works perfectly, pop in the 5-LED bulb and nothing.
Any ideas, heres what Ive got.....

have you tried it 180'? LED's only work one way.

Clean the connection, worked for mine ages ago

White spirit and clean the metal in the holder.
Or if needs be give it a light sand so u have a clean metal surface for it.

It only fits one way round due to where the bayonets are situated (ones higher than the other) and theres no corrosion, tired another bulb as well.
