Lets Talk Printers?

two weeks ago I purchased a small (a3) vinyl cutter, size wise its all I need.

I have an existing cheap A4 printer that takes cartridges. im looking to replace this with an A3 printer that I can refill with ink bottles, rather than cartridges.

I only do a handful of prints a week, so do not need an industrial printer.

just noticed the above printer isn't refillable by bottles.

the Epson A3 one you can refll with bottles is £550, which is more than I wanted to pay.

so looks like its the a4 version.

I can't help, but all I've got to add is - printers are dicks, and I hate them.

We have A4, A3 and A1 wireless printers at work - and NEVER a week goes by when one of them doesn't have some kind of issue. As we need to print regularly, in the past we've just bought another emergency printer when one of them has a brainfart - but its getting a bit boring now!!

Hate them.

Can you fill it with dye sublimation ink aswell as normal ink?

I remember when I first got into IT in the late 90s and the media costs of those dye sub printers was eye-watering.

No doubt the print quality and end results are second-to-none - but so expensive.
