Lexus Is200 and LCR paint corrected

Had these two cars in during the last few weeks.

The lexus had been the victim of a turkish 'hand' wash. This car has been paint corrected 3 times alone this year due to incorrect wash techniques etc. Very light cut needed but was just enough to bring this one back around.

Sadly my camera isnt anything fancy so just basic pictures and some finished ones.

A few finished one's outside. It's been dropped on coilovers since the last time I detailed it around a year ago and looks a lot better now...

It's wearing some autosmart wax which seems to do the trick

Now onto the leon. This car has been through a lot of hell with car washes etc, the paint was extrremely swirled with a lot of RDS and oxidation. My camera isnt the best so I didnt get any before's just some afters.

The arches are going to be getting a full on detail after winter but for the time being the owner wasn't fussed.

Time spent on this around 28-30 hours.

Products used:

Menz hard cutting pad
Med Cut pad
3m Blue finishing pad
Menzerna Intensive polish
Menzerna Final Finish
Meg's last touch
Poorboys Natty's blue
Autosmart tyre dressing
Autosol

Dave- It's really good stuff isn't it. I used it on my 100k mile old 172 seats and they came up amazing

I uses rotary only on the Lexus as it wasn't too hard to correct

As for the Leon, I used a mix of rotary on the metal parts and megs g220 da on the bumpers. I spent 3 hours alone on the rear bumper trying to rescue it. God only knows what the prev owner used on it. The car only has 36k on aswell

Yep been in the garage for the last week nights at -0 degrees, not the best weather to be doing It I agree

Tom- for the work done no I wouldn't say they paid much at all, I know if they'd gone to a proper company it would be 4-5 times more

  Maybe a 172 Cup..
Good work mate!!

Really like the look of the IS200's and they're a bit of a bargain, never driven one though, imagine probably a gutless??? Those calipers are gash x50 though..:dapprove:
