LG Chocolate Phone

My contract runs out next month and I'm trying to decide on a new phone, whats peoples opinions on this phone? I've only seen it in photos, but I think it looks nice. I don't really know anything about them though, what are they like feature wise, anyone got one or had a look at one, and how do they compare to Nokias and Sony's which is what I'm used to??

I work for a phone company, and we often get the opportunity to play with phones!!

I thought this phone was ok, had pretty much everything, bluetooth, infrared, can only play MP3's as ringtones, etc. but doesn't have any external memory, so sort of limits as to what it can do, and it seemed a bit slow when changing through applications, and got fingerprinted really quickly, lol!!

I would personally not have this phone, but would go for the new Sony Erricson w810i, not had a play with this but it has all the above but an MP3 player, plus a radio!!

Apparently Sony Erricson have changed the joy stick too, so it wont brake like mine does now, but i will have to wait to test it!!

couple of my mates have got them, I think they are really cool. the screen isnt that good but they are tiny and light, would be cool if the keypad buttons were touch sensitive too.

i have the sony ericsson w810i and i think that it is the bollox, loads of memory to play with at th min i have got around 100 songs 40 pictures 15 videos and still have memory also loads of different themes, oh and the features are very good too!

there's a new samsung out, almost identical to the LG phone, touch sensitive keypad, 2mp camera, better quality screen i beleive too

Samsung E900 i think it is. Why don't they just make small phones anymore?

I have a w810i, nearly got the LG, but it all seems a bit all show, no go!

Plus if you scratch or drop the LG your buggered! Least with the w810i u can get replacement covers!!

Thanks for the replies, I'll have a proper look of one in the shop, but if it's that easily damaged and marked it's probably not a good idea for me to have one, lol, I'm always dropping and scuffing my phone! I just wanted to try something different as I've always had Sony or Nokia

Definitly the samsung over the LG, features are better, i think it looks better and at least you know you should have some reliability with the samsung.

Are they easy to change? The lens on the back of mine is a bit scratched already!
