Lifted bonnet...

The use is for turbo'd cars i think, to do with cooling etc.

However some people think its cool to do it to everyday cars with a few random mods hoping people think it looks cool, only to not realise it looks like they've had a front end shunt.

Ahh I know a guy at college with a 1.6 zetec s, who believes that his car is putting out 130bhp cause his bonnet is lifted and more cool air is now getting to his K&N air filter. He wouldn't believe me when I told him it would barely make a difference (if it even made one) so I wanted to prove a point :p

Someone on here recently said it's been proven to reduce cooling due to drag/turbulance caused!
