Looking for info on how to use these....

Bought these recently, havent got a clue what im doing regarding putting the stuff on with that pad? (which side do i use etc) any info would be greatly appreciated.

am i being stupid, is it just a case of putting the scratch remover on, remove and then put the polish on and remove? shall i just sack the sponge pad thing off any use micro fibres?
