Losing Water

hi

my ph1 172 has been losing water the past day, there doesnt seem to be a problem with the head gasket and im worried that it is a fault with the water pump

has any1 else had this problem on their ph quick??

you checked underneath for leaks obviously? not being sarcastic just checking.

i have checked the best i can, ther doesnt seem to be much water coming out from below the car, but it appears to be leaking from somwhere, thats y im so stumped by it

i was hoping that maybe some1 else was having the same problems

most likley to be your radiator mate. I had this problem a bit ago. I had to fill water every 2 days and i mean a whole bottle. but i couldnt see any leaks. Turned out radiator was bust. id get it checked asap as head gasket will cost alot more

sorry just read you said water pump. in that case forget what i said i was thinking coolant for some reason lol

well i left it in and it looks like it could poss be the radiator

how much are you talking for a radiator??

cost me 400 quid fitted at my local garage. You can probably get it cheaper. Head gasket is 800 odd quid so getit checked asap so no damage is caused.
