yeh but what im saying is get coilovers if you want awesome ride quality and handling and get springs if you want better looks and slightly better handlingsprings play a big part in handling
mines 60mm on std shocks. Looks too high..
60mm in general i think is too high. Needs to be WAY lower. as in F0xy lower..
Mines lowered 60mm on springs and shocks, don't go for the Apex kit, it is too hard and I must confess to no longer having a splitter as it got ripped off on a kerb. It used to grind the splitter going down ramps in multistory car parks and also when the car had to go on the back of a tow truck. Looks good, but bloody impractical IMO.http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=268065
Since that though I have had lower profile tyres all round to stop the tyres rubbing on the arch
Before and after pics are here.
mk2 clios handle pants on just -60mm springs, you need atleat a full kit, i had an apex kit on my old one before i replaced it with FK Coilovers. handled well on that.
you will be fine with just springs if you get eibachs but to many manufacturers out there just look at springs as "shorter + stiffer = better" and you wont get anymore than -25/30mm on eibachs
ive known of standard dampers feeling done by 40k miles they wont last more than a couple of months with -60mm springs! i done all 4 on my 172 at 40k and it made a massive difference (standard to brand new standard)

If not Apex, what would you use to go 60mm.
I haven't heard of any other kit which will go that low.
