lowering

Hi.. im just about to purchase some springs for my clio .. it got 17" i want to lower it about 40 mm will this be ok? also will it be visible that it has actually been lowered

what springs are you thinking of?

Im sure you will be on with the height but id be more worried about them scrubbing on full lock on the arches. How wide are the wheels?

All depend on what offset the wheels are and tyre size
