M.o.t and braking

Just had a mot on my 172 cup which as i know has no abs.
the car passed but with a advisory on the brake efficancy only 58%
do you know if im always going to have this advisory with a mot due to the abs not being there?

Probably yes. It is nothing to do with ABS. The cups have v low rear brake effort. They often get failed for it. SO they would have overall low brake efficiency. There is a VOSA bulletin that you can show to the MOT tester to try and convince him to pass it.

Do some searches on here and you'll find it.

cheers guys for your help i had the bulletin with me when i took it thats prob why they passed it.
last year with my cup new baby on the way oh the sacrifice lol!
she wont sell her corsa something about fuel economy whatever does she mean lol !!
