da's and amateures do not mix. even P2000 will f**k up your car and can lead to a need of a complete panel respray.

unless you know what you are doing, dont try it. stick to hand/block flatting

even i dont use da's to polish as theres just way too much risk of damaging the paint. everything i polish is done by hand or with a rubber block

Even being extremely soft by hand you still get loads of scratches, I wouldn't ever want to try doing it by machine. Well on my car certainly!
