Magnetic Phone Holders

does anyone use one of those magnetic phone holders

is it not possible for the magnet to damage the phone ?

my mate had one in his (urgh) saxo, apparently its a special type of magnet that dosent damage the phone.

I work in halfords, we dont sell them because there was alot of customers complaing that it ruined their battery. But its up to you. Personally I got a phone holder that sits in the lighter hole and charges my phone at the same time. very stylish !

What Halfords you at John? I was a Ripspeed specialist at Harlow. Anyway I have an 8310 & had the magnetic holder on it since I bought it nearly a year ago & no probs here at all, had it on the 3310 too.

mate i dont know if they do damage. prob dont. i just know halfords dont sell them because they claim it effects the battery. im in scotland mate
