Making your own sub box?

  ITB BG 182
Im looking to make my own sub box as the ones ive seen that i like are from 70quid upwards, which seems bloody expensive to me.

So i would like to make some thing like this.

Im good when it comes to wood work and handy with the tools.

Would anyone have a design plan with measurements for some thing like this.
I know my sub is exactly like the one above.

Measure the depth of your subwoofer and add 2 inches. Measure the frame diameter of your woofer, or check the mounting template that may be included with the owner's manual, to determine the minimum height and width for the front of your box.

typical box for 12" sub.
Wedge box:
Height: 14"
Width: 18"
Depth 1: 5"
Depth 2: 8"

There are sub box calculators all over the net, but depends what you want.

Puncy, tight, dance-style bass = sealed box, 1cu/ft internal volume
Low, rumbling bass = ported box, needs to be specific to the sub. You'd need to get all the specs from the internet for the sub, what hertz its comfortable at etc etc
