search your postcode and when it comes up with the little pointer/tab on the map there is a little red icon on the left of it

not sure why but ive googled this an its been on the iphone since 2.2 my touch since 3.0 im sure many would have noticed this before me :S

unless my location has be updated to include the photo from streetview maybe thats why i dont remember seeing this icon until today

good find, was only thinking the other day it was something which was missing, especially when using maps on the ipad, going to try it on there now.

reason it doesnt work is i typed my address and we are not on street view. Wish it would stay that way as I like my privacy
