Wrong section, but if you were to look at your current inlets and how they fit to your manifold, they're not quite flush. By matching the inlets to your manifold you are 'smoothing' the air flow, increasing it and theoretically increasing power. I say theoretically because in theory it should work. Many of the chaps on here have seen vast improvements so it must be good for something, I've just not gotten around to doing it.
Its not really advisable to do it yourself but there are many tuning companies that do it. Most people recomend angelworks matched inlets. Do a search for angelworks in google for there website as I can't remember what it is!!
