meguiars hot shine tyre spray

MK1 Clio (soon to be V6)
I've just this second finished a 'tyre shine' feature for the mag. If you can wait, pick up a copy of Redline on 26th July and have a peek.

;)

I should really hold out.. but f*ck it, i'll tell ya.

Overall, the 'Hot Shine' came out as one of the best. It has a handy adjustable nozzle that gives you the option of either a wide or narrow spray to suit different tyre profiles and it'll immediately restore the blackness of tyre walls leaving a long lasting shine.

its good, but not the best.. the adjustable nozzle is good.. I personallyprefer the turtle wax one, its spray on, cheap, (about £3 a bottle) and gives awesome results

Shite!!!!

The megs hot tyre spray runs then goes all over the wheels and onto the bodywork, doesn't last, attracts dust no end!!

Chemical guys liquid extreme oil shine dressing, Poor boys world bold n bright tyre dressing, Blackfire long lasting tyre gel are by far 3 of the best around!!

Yep

blackfire stuff looked good.. just spray the stuff on and wipe clean.. easy..

its in a clear bottle with a green trigger.. in halfords

Spray on... spend 10 minutes cleaning off the alloys so that you dont end up brake dust stuck all over them the next time you drive.

Does look good though

  Better than yours. C*nt.
Spray ons look alright but they always cover everything no matter how hard you try. Get looks just as good with a decent gel.

Even if it is a spray on one, decant some into something and apply with a brush or spray onto a foam pad.

Indeed matey...^

Spraying on alone is messy, ends up all over your wheels and bodywork, school boy stuff really...

Chemical guys, Poor boys and Blackfire, (not at the same time BTW) applied with a sponge applicator, goes on evenly, leave for say an hour buff off any excess with an old microfibre, for more gloss/bling apply another coat depending on how you like your rubber...

bought some meguires hot shine tyre gel and the turtle wax tyre shine spray today.megs was £8.49 turtle wax was £3.25 its not as good but its not worth the extra so i think ill take the megs back!

Blackfire topped with CG New Look Vinyl Dressing for me...I have used the Turtle Platinum series creme gel too though and think it works well, especially on tyres that have browned. Only downside is not much gloss.

  172 gone :( 197 now :)
I been using the meguirs endurance gel which is quite good but nearly run out now so will be buying the blackfire long lasting stuff looks fantastic in all the photos ive seen.
Bought autoglym tyre shine spray few weeks ago its absolutely awfull the spray blows everywhere and the finish did nothing for me.

Turtle Wax clear Liquid in pump action or even Armourall in the fire extinguisher looking cannister. Both a fiver.........

I'm still a fan of Megs Endurance, been using that for over 2 years now I think. It can get very mucky, but as long as it's given time to cure and then the tyre buffed, gives a deep natural finish that lasts well in my opinion.
