depends what you've got on the other side of the bumper.
you may be able to fold it over a crease or something so its got a little ridge. folding it properly should hold it fairly tight on its own. then you can use something like stikaflex to glue and bond it into place properly. really does depend on how much your doing, and onto what type of bumper.

cut the mes about two inches biger than the car
cut the corners off
fold the excess edges arond or flush to the kit on the side that is not facing outwards
use a simple filler or fibfreglass mix to bond the mesh to the kit
