Microsoft points help..

Sold some Microsoft points over Ebay two weeks ago, sent them the code over email etc...
I received positive feedback, so didn't think much of binning the card.

I then have an email today from the buyer saying "The code keeps coming up as invalid, what shall I do?".

I have rung Xbox up and as usual they cannot do anything about it.

Am I going to have to refund?

Yup.

Have you double checked you gave him the correct code? Try putting the points on yours. It will either work or it will say 'these points have already been used'

The lack of card (my fault) means I can't double check, just frustrating that they left positive feedback before trying the code :dapprove:

Find the code from your email and at least try it.

If it says it's already been used, bluff him. Email and say Microsoft confirmed it's been activated since the date you sold it.
