^ yep 4300 with more bits on it lol. iirc medici paid over the odds for it in the first place though, so fair play for trying to get some money back ;)

however now it has like a million owners so doubt he'll get anywhere near that for it

I do not understnad this boy.

One minute he is saying he is skint, the next minute he is trying to change cars for a newer car which won't release any money at all.

He has just spent upwards of 500 quid on new alloys as well :S

Very confused.

Middo would you be upset if someone bought it, broke it and sold it as standard?

All of them.

Unless you like having to pay £50k + of in damages after your insurance company refuse to pay.

(this has happnened before now when someoe edidn't declare ther mods and crashed into an M5 insurance paid then took the owner to court and owener had to pay insurance back the £50k+ interest)

I know you'll say I won't crash if so then don't get insurance see what the police say.

  Breaking A 172 Replica
I would be very suprised if you can get it under 2k if you have already had one claim and it has that many mods.

  Clio 1.4RT
lol your not wrong even without the mods (because it didnt give me an option) they want 3k a year wtf is wrong with these people?

Whats wrong with you you should ask yourself. Youyr a massive high risk there charging you that much snce there such a high chance you'll crash again statistically.

  Clio 1.4RT
fair enough but i just got a quote with mods declaring the car at 4k, 4800 a year. im not being funny but thats f**king retarded, i may be a high risk fine but 4800 a year on a 4k car, f**k it ill buy the RSi then insure it third party for 2400, am i not more risk too others in a 1.8 rather than a modded 1.2?????????

:S

You have just implied you would get the 1.2 fully comp so they have to factor in the risk to yourself when quoting?

Were you out on the piss last night or has logic never been a strong point?

Yep you are as ytour only 3rd part for a start on a RSI. Plus own an RSI and you'll be more mechanically minded.

i understand that myself is a risk but asking more per year than what the car is worth is absurd its easy for you too sit back here and slam young drivers but when you just want a nice car and insurance companies keep knocking you back its a pain in the f**king ass.

  Breaking A 172 Replica
I am a young driver myself (17).

Just think about it from their point of view. I can understand how it is annoying for you but it isn't unlikely you will write the car off and involve another car is it? Then they have to think about the compensation claims etc... and it all mounts up.

You have had one crash already which is an indication you are not sensible.

You now want a car with mods that are designed to increase performance which yells out young lad who wants to go fast.

95% the time insurance is purely logical and in my mind this isn't an exception.

  Clio 1.4RT
none of those mods are performance mods (minus the suspension or brakes) but in terms of engine. it just makes it look nice, i understand why they do it, im just saying its f**king bullshit, i just have too put up with f**king shitters.

think were jumping the gun a bit here guys, lewis RT, what was the cause of the claim on your insurance?

if it was your own fault, through speed, or irresponsible driving then you have to understand peoples reactions to your frustration over insurance prices, as (no offence meant by this) it is really your own fault.

however, if it was not your fault in the claim then most young drivers will symapthise with you.

i certainly will. i am 21 in august, i have one claim in my history, so gettin my own insurance next year (after uni, on family's atm) will be a pain in the arse. and the claim was not my fault, but they dont ask you that. just "have you had a claim in the last 5 years". and i will say "yes, some t**t crashed into me on a roundabout, but denied everything so turned out 50:50"

If you want something nice your high risk so you have to pay for it.

Don't buy it unless you can afford it stock 1.2 is a nice car why does it need to have bodykit etc on it to be nice?

  Clio 1.4RT
stock 1.2 fully comp is still 3k a year. 03 clio i just cant afford that ontop of a 3-4k car

right well im not gonna say anything, but you cant complain mate.

stick with it, build up your no claims and then buy a car you want when you can. please dont "not insure it" or all the mods you make to it.

Performance mods include suspension and braking mods?

Why would you want them if you didn't want to drive the car quickly?

It is just another indication you are high risk and this is all the insurance companies can go on.

sam if you steal anything off that car ill hammer your face in.

love you butter cup ;)

***jokes***

oh and some like the way a car "slammed" looks (no jibing intended about your recent "clio on the floor" incident) :D:D hehe
