miles per gallon

ive got a 1.2 2001 dynamique. had a k-tec exhaust fitted and a piper-x induction kit. the miles per gallon is 30.9 that sounds realy sh*t to me for a 1.2 could there b anything wrong?

Depedns how you drive I got under 20 mpg out of a 1.2 I had for a while.

I drive my dci quite hard and get~52mpg and as dci get about 50% more mpg than petrols then 30.9 isnt to bad.

i dont rag the car (much). could it b the hot air cumin off the induction kit then as i havnt got a relocation kit yet

Maybe try putting it back on.

You need to drive round slow for a while to see if tis just the ecu set up for your driving etc.

Its not to bad 30 though so long as you dont do loads of miles I used to get 33 out of my 1.4 60hp escort on a very long drive to work.

If you want good MPG get a Dci.

I get an average 35mpg in my 172 but ive had extremes of 45mpg down to about 18mpg when its driven like i stole it..

Mine goes from 35 to 42mpg depending on how hard I push it.
