Misfiring 182

Car starts fine, idles slightly off what it normally does.
Sounds like a Subaru on tick over.
Splutters when revved can barely be driven.

I've had it 5 years and done 50k now on 120k was looking into replacing the Injectors, Ht leads, plugs, coil pack, and exhaust sensor.

Do you guys think this will fix it? Id take it Diamond but can't wait as its my daily. Was thinking of ordering the parts and taking it my local garage or me doing it myself haha

Injectors sound fav for that type of behaviour.

They’re so cheap I’d honestly replace them anyway if you’re going through stuff and they’re original. Be circa £33.50 each from Renault parts on eBay.

@jameswrx I did a spray test today and only 3 were firing so went and fitted 4 new injectors today and happy days, feels better than ever!

Coil pack or a trapped plug lead.

Same that happened to me.

I bought a new injector just to get the car up and running and when that proved to fix the issue, I bought another three and got the remaining ones swapped out.

Argh, chuffed you got yours sorted but I followed the same approach and noted no difference at all with a brand new set of injectors :/

Were they OE injectors?
