Misfiring



  BMW F31
K4m engine, cylinder 1's pencil coil was wet, dried it out.

started misfiring again, checked coil, was dry, changed coil for new one and made no difference.

found out cylinder 4 wasn't firing, dont think the pencil coil is even sparking.

any ideas??

also got a pressure like noise from the front of the block near the alternator? injector gone maybe? but wouldnt cause the coil to not spark would it?

its got pencil coils so not HT leads. its direct fire ignition.

i changed the spark plug from cylinder 3 to 4 and the coil still wasnt sparking on the plug.

anyone else?

had it on a diagnostic machine today, found its cylinder number 4 injector thats faulty.

anyone know if you can buy individual injectors or you have to buy the whole rail?
