Missing washer jet

Washing my car the other day and noticed that the little ball that sits in the washer jet has gone missing! Cant believe that it has just fallen out, but equally cant believe anyone would be bothered to steal it (unless they have the same problem of course!!)

Anyway been to the Crewe Dealer and they wanted £10 for the entire assembly (not just the ball) apparently you have to remove the bumper as well. Been to the local scrappies and cant find a suitible part, I dont suppose anyone has any ideas have they? I just kind of resent paying £10 for the assembely when I only want the ball!!

It will have fallen out! Common matey, buy a new jet, the next one will just fall out again otherwise! There not meant to seperate.

I bought the whole unit last week for the same problem, was £11.03 inc VAT.

Took the bumper off only took 40 minutes.

I just picked up my 182 the other week, when i went to pick it up one of the washers was leaking. Naturally i said i wasnt happy and wanted them to fix it.

They had to replace the whole washer head which meant the bumper had to come off.

I think they said it was about a £60 job but as i wasnt paying for it i wasnt really told a price.

I would think it should be a fairly easy job to do yourself. and as you say, the whole unit is about £10
