mk1 1.2 8v topspeed??

so whats the best people have got out of thier mk1 1.2 8v then ?

my mk2 1.2 8v does about 105 (speedo indicated) on a nice hill.

it doesn't get there all that often.

105mph too. indicated and down a big hill. I thought thw wheels were about to fall off!

i had 2 mk1 1.2s the first one hit 120 indicated, must have been well out on the speedo, the second one struggle to get 100 but it did once or twice, they were both as quick as each other but the first ones speedo must have been screwed.
