modding standard cat

Been thinking about getting a sports cat to fit with the Milltek system I have but just seen the price of well over £250 for one....

So who is nearest to Nottingham that would be able to mod my standard cat for the 2.5" exit but to fit directly to my milltek without the need of the converter piece?

Also how much?

I've got a Milltek cat back and a standard cat. Wasn't even aware there was any modding needed to connect them.

You can use the adapter to connect them with an additional clamps, yet would it not be better to have the original cat modded to have the end unrestricted to fit the milltek side?
