What has everyone got? I have a A LG Flatron L1915s. It is several years old and it,s not HD. I am wanting to upgrade to a HD one. Please let me know what you have and how much?

Samsung's customer service is excellent. Not many people have heard of Viewsonic but I highly recommend them, very good screens ( I've got two of their VP171s on a second PC that are a few years old, although they are only 17"s they have been faultless and give a really crisp picture )

Bought it based purely on reviews, very good monitor, extremely bright. Also lovely little feature with PiP.

Thanks guys. What is the width of the 27" monitors? Mine is a 19" but 17" wide. It should fit on my desk but it will be tight. Thanks Lee.

Nothing special but it's big and is good for games, which is all it gets used for. I've been looking at their new 2011 range of 3D bad boys. Not ready to buy yet though.

The Dell 2711 is an amazing panel. Same as that used in the 27 winch iMacs?

Yeah. Only difference is the Apple is glossy and has LED backlight iirc.

Oh. I thought the Dell was also lit by LED. My mate has one and it's stunning. I was all set to buy one myself until I happened to sample 3D shooters. My next monitor will 100% be 3D.

Apple is LED and Dell is CCFL!

Dell is also a more accurate screen than the Apple colour wise because of the CCFL. LED in this case isn't a good thing. It might make it look vibrant but it is not accurate.

The glass on Apple screens is only held on by magnets so i can be taken off if you dont like the glossyness!!

Iiyama here too, i'm rocking 2x E2410HDS, wider than my tv combined!
