More pictures, opinions needed and what to do next?

I cleaned the car today so I went and took some more pictures over at Sainsbury's

What should I do next? Just to let you know in advance though... I can't afford to lower it and I'm not changing the wheels yet because I'm still learning to drive and I'd probably end up bashing them up the gutter.

I want to change the bullets back to black to make it a bit more stealth, do you think I should?

I really want a better splitter but I just know I wouldn't be able to fit it.

Future mods:

* black side repeaters
* black bullets
* chrome door handles (inside obviously)

Keep the clear indicators! Lowering will set you back about £100 which is a must.

Have a look through some threads about your splitter options, the megane one is supposed to look good on the 1.2s

Paint your rear hubs BLACK and the front calipers either silver or black

I think I'm definitely going to spray the bullets black. I'm not sure about the reat diamond though... if I do that I'll have to spray the Clio badge black and I don't really want to mess about with that one. I probably will have black wheels when I do eventually buy some. What is loom?

I'm going to spray the bullets completely black, I think when people spray the letters it always looks a bit messy. I really want to do the indicators black, I think I'm going to definitely do that sorry. Like I said... I can't afford to pay £100 just to lower it. I should have done that instead of having the windows tinted, but it's too late now. The problem I'm having with the splitter is that I keep seeing people say it needs to be cut to make it fit... won't it look rough if you have to cut it down? And I've seen people saying it sticks out or it doesn't stay in place properly, etc. My front calipers are already black, what are rear hubs?

You could put some fog lights in it

I quite like the non-fog look.

Ok well since so many of you have suggested getting fogs I'm going to look into it. How much are they and are they easy to fit? What is loom?

You can get them for less than a fiver and how can you justify a fiver being too much for a subtle mod when you've just blown circa £100 on a gash one?

You sound like you don't have a clue what your on about when it comes to cars let alone modifying one.

I haven't seen them for less than a fiver. And I can justify it quite easily actually. I shouldn't have spent £100 on getting the windows tinted (and they look fine by the way) but I did and it's too late to worry about that now isn't it? So my funds are running low and I'm now watching what I'm spending. I've paid £10 to have silvervisions on the front but I'm not that worried about getting the rears changed, is that such a crime?

And about me "not having a clue"... were you born knowing? Did you not go through the learning process?

Get a cup spoiler, colour code the bullets with silver writing and get some fogs I think.

Can't really remove the tints, I paid £100 to have them done just over 2 weeks ago (and they're medium, not dark). Bullets are being sprayed black as we speak, the writing will also be black.

Maybe get someone with a steady hand to paint the letters on the bullets, this way it wont be messy. It will also break the black up.

same with the splitter, if you take your time it will look good. I dont know about sizes etc, sorry.

The rear brakes on your car are drums, paint them black to tidy them up

but lowering springs are fairly reasonable price and will be the best visual mod for the car. imo, lower, black wheels, black bullets, smoked repeaters, black rear diamond, remove tints.
car looks very nice as it is, but the mods above would really suit it.

Thanks. These pictures don't do the tints justice to be honest, they're not that bad. I wish people would stop putting me off them though. I think I'm going to have to buy standard bullets with the normal chrome letters. I'm going to try sorting out the splitter soon. Thanks again, you're always very helpful!

How much? I will have black wheels eventually. I'm in the process of spraying the bullets black (I wish I'd never touched them to be honest). I'm going to buy some black repeaters when I get paid. I'm not going to change the rear badges and I just can't remove the tints, not yet anyway.
