Most economical rev range

Depends on to many things on the whole best keep it near the maximum torque value.

Than again difficult to drive the car with a steady foot and round the mapping.

  182, SRT8, RS4, GT-R
I absolutely rag the tits off my 182 and the worst I get is around 27MPG. I'd say 2-3k is good for returning a high MPG.

TBH i get about the same fuel economy on the 1.2 16v as ido on my valver on the work run as in the 1.2 I boot it whereas in the valver its usually below 3000 revs most of the time.

  MK4 Anni & MK5 Edt30
i'd say the most eco friendly amount of revs would be 5500-6500 depending onj the direction of the wind

Motorway crusing the optimum speed is just under 60MPH. I tend to go 70MPH as that is 3500rpm and it uses much less fuel than at 80mph (4000rpm and reving its tits off).
